Skateboardotin is now a word. According to me.

Alright folks I'm back with more music, art, and skateboarding. To start off, here's some cheetahs on the board I just broke.
Now as we enter the sixth month of twenty twelve, the art show that my work was in has come to an end. Good news is that I sold a piece, got an order from UPS and United Way for an eagle deck, and the owner of the gallery loves my work enough to give me a little space on the top floor to display the boards I create and destroy for an extended period of time. Whoo hoo!!!
Now I gotta find more places to hang my work. So far, I've only inquired about wall space in 3 different coffeshops that haven't hit me back yet, but I plan to inquire more. In other art news, the owner of Nomadic wants me to help design a new fall line. Holy crap.

Speakin' of Nomadic, rephood is going well. So far I got boards into 35th North, Snocon, Snocon Bellevue, Alki Bike and Board, NorthEnd, and Black Market. Tomorrow is when I make my south end mission to hit up Static, 35th ave, Gravity, and a few other shops down there. The ball is rolling!!! Startin'ta get pretty exciting!!!

This last weekend brought the ZUMIEZ COUCH TOUR to the Alderwood Mall in Lynwood, and along with it came the Best Foot Forward Am competition. I drove up north and checked it out, but didn't do that well in the actual contest. Got a cool photo though :)
I ran into a whole bunch of homies I haven't seen for hella long, including Dave Mull, who I met at a mini ramp contest in San Diego. This dude was visiting from the east coast and has a pretty cool style. He got 3rd. My buddy and fellow Nomadic rider Jordan Dunlap killed it and got 2nd. This awesome skateboarder named Cory McCowan got 1st. Well deserved. That dude fucking rips. Check out the flick if ya want:

In other Skateboarding news, I heard that West Seattle's Denny Middle School was demolished, so I had to  release a tribute clip of some Denny Roof footy I was sittin' on. I sandwiched it with SnoCon logos 'cause they've been hookin me up with free shoes from the sales rack whenever I start rippin through socks.

LONG VERSION:

SHORT SNOCON VERSION:

Check out the deck I'm skatin here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/97337103/hella-easy

Here's another short clip from Nomadic that Mark Kirkland made that was released shortly afterwards.

FUN TIMES!!! The next skateboarding clips that I'm involved with that are internet bound are a super rad RENTON SKATEPARK clip full of shit you aint neva seen beefo, and a cool frontside flip ad for Nomadic. Those will probably be done by the next blog I post.

MUK ROOF PROGRESS
I fiiiiiiiinaly got started on a 3d model of the Muk for the fundraising video. This is about 2.5 hours in.
I also was talking to by buddy Sawyer Purman, who came to europe with me on a skateboarding trip and who's also a major player in the production company ALTRAC, about helping me film interviews and produce a professional looking short film that will help me get investors to chip in for this project. He down to help out and is stoked to be apart of it. Rad. From now on every blog I post will include a Muk roof update so if your interested stay tuned.

This time around on the musiciany front, I found some recordings from a handful of months ago that my brother Jonas recorded on his phone at a houseparty in the u district. the quality sucks, but the tunes are decent. I'm on drums, my buddy Joel's on guitar, and my other buddy Max on another guitar. Man soundclouds legit.

Well thats about it ladies and gentlemen. Ill be back next week with more. Thanks for tuning in, and have a wonderful day!!!
